K'taka Govt to implement people-oriented programmes

Mysore, Oct 13 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said his Government was preparing the blueprint for various people-oriented programmes, to be implemented in the next fiscal.

Launching various developmental projects worthe Rs 100 crore at Bannur Assembly constituency here, he said the Opposition parties should wait and watch the programmes, for which the coalition Government would mobilise resources.

Coming down heavily on the Opposition for ''unnecessarily'' blaming the coalition Government and attempting to dislodge it by pressurising the Centre, he said ''throwing out the present Government, which is working for the development of the people, is not so easy.'' On criticisms about his frequent village visits, Mr Kumaraswamy said one must have an understanding of the actual problems of the people and it could be achieved by visiting them rather than sitting in Vidhan Soudha, the State Secretariat. He could solve the problems of at least 60 to 70 per cent grievances he received from the people during his visits, he added.
