Journalists win award

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 13 (UNI) Journalists Leen B Jesmas and Elias John of NTV have been selected for the third Chengarappally Parameswaran Smaraka Trust Media Award.

The award carrying a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a citation and a plaque will be presented to them on October 29 at Karuvatta by Kerala Forest Minister Binoy Viswam, Trust Chairman K A Muraleedharan and Secretary C Murali told reporters here today.

A three-member-committee with Retired AIR Director N K Sebastian as its chairman and Kerala Kaumudi's M Rajendraprasad and Doordarshan's Mohan Roy as members selected the awardees.
