Haryana sets up vocational guidance centres
Chandigarh, Oct 13 (UNI) With a view to providing optimum employment opportunities to the educated youth of the state, the Haryana government has set up a network of 22 vocational guidance centres at 17 district headquarters and in three universities.
''These centres are providing career guidance not only to the unemployed youth and women, but also disseminating occupational and other relevant information to them through group guidance, career talks, career weeks,'' an official spokesman said today.
Also, these were providing information to the individuals and rendering counselling.
He said that 233 Employment Information Centres had also been set up in rural areas throughout the state. These were providing latest information about job oriented training couses.
