Four new tourism projects to come up in Surat

Surat, Oct 13 (UNI) Work on four new tourism projects in the districts will commence soon.

According to the decision taken at the district-level review meeting, the four new tourism projects will come up at Dumas, Sultanabad, Vyara and Doswada in the district, Additional District Collector D V Mewada said here today.

The projects at Dumas, Sultanabad and Vyara will be eco-tourism projects developed by the Forests department, while the Doswada project will be developed by District Development Office, he said.

The total cost of the projects will be about Rs 11 crores. ''We have decided to sanction 50 per cent of the amount now and plan to complete the projects before December 31,'' Mr Mewada added.
