Employees trapped by ACB dismissed
Hyderabad, Oct 13 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government dismissed Junior Assistant Office of district coordinator of hospital services G Govinda Rao from service following his conviction by the Principal Special Judge of ACB here who sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment of one year.
According to an ACB release, he was trapped earlier by the ACB in 1998, when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 2,000 to do an official favour.
The relase said, in another case, Junior Assistant, Municipal Corporation Guntur B Shyamala Kumari was dismissed from service folloiwng her conviction by Special Judge for ACB cases who sentenced her to undergo one year rigorous imprisonment.
Earlier, she was trapped by the ACB in 1999 when she demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 800, the release added.
