CCI Q2 net rises to Rs 189 cr

Mumbai, Oct 13 (UNI) The public sector Container Corporation of India (CCI) has posted a net profit of Rs 189.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 122.13 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 596.76 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 786.18 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
