Amarinder, Reliance hand-in-glove: SAD

Jalandhar, Oct 13 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) general secretary and former Union Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today suspected nexus between Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) for serving each others' interests.

Talking to reporters here today, Mr Badal alleged that allotment of agro marketing and processing project to RIL was unlikely to serve the interests of farmers or the state but it might serve the interest of the ruling Congress during the next assembly elections.

The SAD leader alleged the company is going to fund for the election expenses of the ruling Congress during the next assembly elections.

He said his party had constantly been raising its objection against the grant of the project to the above company with undue generosity.
