Alliance flight for Guwahati returned after technical snag

Kolkata, Oct 13 (UNI) An Allince Air ATR-48 aircraft bound for Guwahati from Kolkata returned here shortly after take off this morning becasue of a "tehcnial snag" an Alliance Air sposkesman said.

He told UNI that the flight with 26 passengers on board had left NSCBI airport at 620 am. Soon after take off, the commander of the aircraft suspected some technical snag with the flight and decided to to return Kolkata.

Passengers of the flight were then sent to Guwahati in a separate airplane.

The ATR-48 aircraft after being repaired was used for Dimapur flgiht.
