29 suspected dengue cases reported in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Oct 13 (UNI) In the last 24 hours, 29 new cases of suspected dengue fever have been reported in Post Graduate Institute (PGI) here.

A press release issued here today stated that among these new cases, 17 patients are from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula while others are from the neighbouring states. At the moment there are 46 patients admitted in PGI, the release said.

All these patients, except one, are stable. Till date 217 patients of suspected dengue fever have been treated in PGI.
