20 wounded in Kashmir accident

Baramulla, Oct 13: At least 20 passengers were wounded when a bus collided with a truck at Kanispora in this district today, official sources said.

They said the bus, on the way to Srinagar from Baramulla, was hit by an oncoming speedy truck at Kanispora, about 10 km from here.

The sources said the bus after being hit by the truck rammed into a closed shop resulting in injuries to at least 20 passengers.

The wounded have been hospitalised. At least six of the wounded have been referred to a Srinagar hospital where their condition was stated to be critical, they added.

Police have registered a case.
