Yet another village stay for Kumaraswamy

Mysore, Oct 12 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's village stay continues, and for a change, his overnight say tonight was at a milk producers cooperative society building at Seehalli in T Narasipura taluk in this district.

His stay was not either in the house of dalit nor any poor farmer, as it had been for the past one month when he visited this district for six times. The society building in the village was all spruced up to receive the Chief Minister.

Like his previous tours and overnight stays in the villages, Seehalli with a popolation of just 6000, saw lot of activity with official machinery busy filling the potholes in the road leading to and inside the the village that comes under the Chief Minister's route, fixing street lights and drinages being cleaned.

Obviously the villagers were the happinest lot as Chief Minister's visit would bring in a lot of development works. The village has no primary health centre or a separate P U college building while various canal works were pending since years.

Incidentally the only other VVIP who visited this tiny village in the past was the Mr Kumaraswamy's father and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda who visited the village during his early political life as the irrigation minister.

The Chief Minister would hear public grivences soon after his arrival and sleep in a room on the first floor of the society. He would also participate various development programmes during the next two days in the around the Mysore city.
