Two people killed in road mishap

Ghazipur, Oct 12 (UNI) Two people were killed after a vehicle rammed into a jeep here late last night, police today said.

The mishap occured near Bauri village under Kasimabad police station area, where Ravindra Yadav-- a native of Shahbazpur village was on way to his house with his friend Rajesh Verma on his motorcycle.

Suddenly, he lost control and the motorcycle rammed into a jeep.

Both of them died on the spot. The jeep's driver, however, absconded after the incident.

A case was registered and hunt was on to arrest the driver.
