Two naxals killed by AP Police

Jagdalpur, Oct 12 (UNI) Two naxals have been shot dead by Andhra Pradesh police during an encounter at Annaram village in Chhattisgarh's Dantewara district, police said today.

A patrol team of Andhra Pradesh Police was patrolling the area when the encounter took place yesterday. Three guns -- including Carbine and SLR -- were seized raising suspicion that the deceased ultras were naxal commanders.

Their bodies were handed over to Chhattisgarh police.

Meanwhile, two villagers -- Bashir Kujur (50) and Javel Tirgi (37) -- were today stabbed to death by naxals at Pamlavaya village in Bijapur Police District.

The ultras left their bodies near a CRPF camp.
