Temporary employees have no right to post: HC

Allahabad, Oct 12 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court has ruled that temporary employees have no right to the post.

A temporary employee can be terminated and the Court can not interfere with the termination order under Article 226 of the Constitution.

Justice Ashok Bhushan passed this order yesterday on a writ petition filed by Ranjeet Singh and other temporary employees of the Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur.

The services of the petitioners, who were appointed on August 3, 1987 on a purely temporary/adhoc basis, were terminated by the Vice-Chancellor on June 8, 1989.
