Rapists sentenced to life imprisonment

Mahoba, Oct 12 (UNI) A court here convicted two people of rape and murder and sentenced them to life imprisonment.

According to prosecution, after criminally assaulting Savitri and her daughter Shikha, the two-Brijraj Singh and Amit Budhaulia had killed them in Kharela village on January 1, 2004.

Later, the victim' relatives lodged an FIR against Singh and Budhaulia residents of Karbai village.

On the basis of testimony and evidence, additional sessions judge Balendu Singh convicted both the accused and imposed 10 yrs additional imprisonment, apart from the life term.
