Oppn parties stage stir on ORR project scam

Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI) All the major opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh today blocked traffic on the three national highways leading to the city, demanding a judicial probe either by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court or the High Court into the Outer Ring Road (ORR) project scam.

The leaders of the oppositon TDP, Left parties, TRS and BJP along with scores of people to be affected by the project obstructed the national highways for one hour.

They also organised picketings at Shashabad and Patancheru on the city outskirts to press their demands, including land to those, who would be displaced following the prestigious international standarh eight-lane super-highway project.
