One killed as Govt bus rams into tree

Hubli, Oct 12 (UNI) One person was killed and ten others injured when a State Transport Corporation bus rammed into a roadside tree near Unkal today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.

The 66-year-old deceased person was yet to be identified. The injured were treated as outpatients at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences here, police added.
