Minor boy sacrificed by 'tantrik'

Hardoi, Oct 12 (UNI) In a tragic incident, a 'tantrik' sacrificed a minor boy to allegedly please goddess Kali in Hardoi district, police today said.

The horrendous incident occurred in Devaria Purva village under Beniganj police station area, 'tantrik' Babu Lal Pasi took two children Chotu (8) and Akash (4) for a bath in the river yesterday.

While, Akash returned, Chotu was hacked to death by the 'tantrik' to please the deity, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, cops reached the spot and recovered Chotu's body and arrested the accused.

Investigations were on.
