MCD daily wager commites suicide

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) A 30-year-old woman, a daily wager with the MCD, today commited sucide in the Nand Nagri area of East Delhi by setting herself afire.

30-year-old Salma, wife of Nazoor, also an MCD daily wager, set herself on fire during the day at her residence in Khodi Colony in Nand Nagri.

Salma and Nazoor, married for 15 years, have three children.

In another incident, 35-year-old Mukesh, tried to commit suicide in Gokulpuri in North East Delhi this evening.

Mukesh, a resident of Tunda Nagar in Gokulpuri, was apparently in love with a 25-year-old married woman Rekha, police said.

He tried to end his life near Rekha's house in Gokulpuri.

He has been admitted to the GTB hospital in serious condition.
