Maosist central committee member arrested in Bihar
Sasaram, Oct 12 (UNI) Police arrested a senior CPI(Maoist) leader from Nasriganj in Rohtas district of Bihar, police said today.
Superintendent of Police N H Khan said CPI(Maosit) central committee member Veer Bahadur Ram was wanted for as many as 12 cases in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. He was arrested last night.
The rebel leader is also allegedly involved in killing of more than twelve policemen in landmine blasts at Nauhatta in Rohtas district few years ago. He was also responsible for killing six policemen in Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh, said the police suprintendent.
He recently underwent training for sophisticated weaspons in Hyderabad, Mr Khan added.
