Hike in ticket rates for VIPs

Tirumala, Oct 12 (UNI) TTD would enhance the 'Abhishekam Seva' tickets from Rs 750 to Rs 2500 and 'Vastralankara Seva' tickets from Rs 12,250 to Rs 50,000 for VIPs.

TTD Trust Board Chairman B Karunakara Reddy told reporters after the board meeting that as part of extending service to the common pilgrims, who booked in advance for seva tickets, 'Abhiskekam' and 'Vastralankara' ticket prices were hiked for VIPs, who booked under discretionary quota and the new rates would come into effect from next week.

However, the pilgrims who reserved three months in advance for 'Vastralankara Seva' and five years for 'Abhiskekam' would be charged as usual, he said.
