Gurumurthy to deliver key-note address at RTI seminar

Bangalore, Oct 12 (UNI) A Seminar on Right to Information Act has been organised by Rotary Club at RV Dental College Auditorium in the City on October 14.

Noted columnist S Gurumurthy would deliver a talk. Well known personalities, including former Union Cabinet Secretary Prabhat Kumar, former Governor of Jharkhand, Prof Vijayakumar, Registrar of National Law School University of India, C N Kumar and Anand Adkoli, CEO of Liqwid Krystal will participate in the Seminar.

The speakers would highlight the scope and modalities of the application and provision of the Act through which people could get a fair deal in interacting with the government and implications of the proposed amendment regarding 'file noting' which was feared to dilute the Act's effectiveness.
