Five candidates file papers for Malehra

Chhatarpur, MP, Oct 12 (UNI) Five candidates today filed their nominations from Malehra assembly constituency, where the by poll is slated on October 30.

CPI(M) nominee Sukhlal Joshi and Samanta Dal candidate Mahesh Chandra filed their nominations besides three independents- Vinod Agrawal, Ashok Kumar Soni and Kapoore.

A total of nine candidates had filed their nominations for the seat so far.

BJP candidate Kapoorchand Ghuvara, Congress nominee Jagdish Shukla, SP's Surendra Singh Yadav and BJS candidate Rekha Yadav had filed their nominations.

The last date for filing nomination is tomorrow, whereas the nominations could be withdrawn by October 15.
