Driver killed, official critically injured in mishap

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 12 (UNI) The Executive Director of Scheduled Castes Corporation, Prakasham district, was critically injured in a road accident here this evening.

The mishap occurred when the car, in which they were travelling collided with an AP State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus, proceeding to Ongole hit it on the outskirts of Kandukur.

Mr Trinadhara Rao was going from Ongole to Kandukur to attend a meeting with local body representatives on government programmes.

Driver Srinivasa Rao was killed on the spot.

The officer was shifted to Ongole for treatment and his condition was stated to be critical.
