Rajahmundry, Oct 12 (UNI) Former Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary today blamed the Andhra Pradesh Congress government for deteriorating law and order and health conditions in the state, and the apex court indicting a former Governor for granting remission of sentence to a Congress leader without independent enquiry into material furnished by the state.
Addressing media, Mr Chowdary said Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had worked against the Constitution. Rayalaseema factionalists had been given entrance to Hyderabad, which had become the centre for all criminal activities, he added.
Referring to the health problem, he said the government had taken no action against chikungunya fever. It had failed to eradicate mosquitoes and apart from that, there were no doctors in public health centres. He said elected representatives were not bothered about the situation and no funds were released.
