Briton admits bomb plot against NYSE

LONDON, Oct 12 (Reuters) A Briton arrested two years ago admitted in a London court today that he plotted to blow up the New York Stock Exchange and carry out ''dirty bomb'' attacks in Britain.

Dhiren Barot, admitted plotting attacks on other U S financial hubs including the International Monetary Fund and World Bank in Washington, as well as bombings of unspecified British targets, including using a radiological bomb.

He pleaded conspiracy to murder at Woolwich Crown Court in south London.
