ABVP workers to appear before court tomorrow
Ujjain, MP, Oct 12 (UNI) Eighteen ABVP workers, arrested in connection with student violence during student union elctions at Madhav College on August 26, will be presented before court tomorrow.
After being arrested on the charge of rioting and misbehaving with Prof M L Nath yesterday, 12 ABVP workers were sent to judicial remand up to tomorrow and will be presented before the court.
Six ABVP workers, including its State President Shashiranjan Singh Akela and Organising Secretary Vimal Tomar, had also been arrested on the charge of murdering Prof H S Sabharwal, who died when students attacked him at the college campus after abrupt postponement of students union elections.
The CID was entrusted with the inquiry into the campus violence and the workers were in judicial custody. They would be presented before the court tomorrow.
