Uttaranchal CM presents budget for Rs 1043.40 crore for state

Dehra Dun, Oct 11 (UNI) Uttaranchal Chief Minister N D Tiwari today presented the first supplementary budget for Rs 1043.40 crore for the current fiscal 2006-07 in the assembly.

Out of the total Rs 1043.40 crore Rs 737.44 crore expenditure pertains to revenue and Rs 305.95 crore to capital expenditure.

Meanwhile, main supplementary demand pertains to Rs 2.2960 crore for the salary of Legislative Assembly members, Rs 65.8314 crore for revenue and general administration, Rs 122.5723 crore for finance, tax, planning, secretariat and other services, Rs 18.4980 crore for police and jail departments, Rs 147.1246 crore for education, sports, youth welfare and culture.
