Two Africans arrested in cheating case
Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) City police have arrested a Nigerian and a South African from a hotel here for allegedly cheating people by showing black papers and saying they were black coated US dollars.
On information, West Zone task force team apprehended Philip Henry (31), resident of Pretoria in South Africa and Akomolafe Samuel Alaba (41) of Lagos (Nigeria).
Police said the duo had cheated people by claiming that the dollar notes would be visible when cleaned.
Police also recovered a box containing four bundles of black papers of dollar-note size, one sealed white long cover containing black papers, chemicals and a passport of the Republic of South Africa from their possession.
The chemicals and paper bundles were being sent to a forensic laboratory for examination.
