Three killed in collision of three vehicles

Bangalore, Oct 11 (UNI) Three people were killed and four others sustained serious injuries in a collision involving three vehicles near Devanahalli on the outskirts of the city today.

Police sources said two people travelling in an auto-rickshaw were killed and four others seriously injured when a granite-laden truck hit it near Vijayapura Cross. In a bid to avoid colliding with the city-bound truck, a bus which was following the truck swerved towards the platform, knocking down a pedestrian in the process.

The mishap occurred when the truck driver lost control of his vehicle.
