Suspected malaria, lepto, dengue cases rise in city
Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) Twenty-three patients, suspected to be suffering from dengue, were admitted in various city hospitals today.
A total of 322 patients were admitted to various hospitals in the metropolis today of fever and many are suspected to be cases of malaria, leptospirosis and dengue.
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) spokesperson Dadasaheb Shivjatak told reporters that the 322 patients were admitted in 20 various civic and private hospitals. He said that no deaths were reported from any of these hospitals.
Among the 322 admissions today, there are 44 suspected cases of malaria, 14 suspected cases of leptopirosis and 23 suspected cases of dengue, he informed.
