Safaricom selects Subex Azure's fraud management solution

Bangalore, Oct 11 (UNI) Subex Azure Ltd, the world's largest vendor of revenue maximisation solutions for telecom operators, today announced that it has won a contract to provide fraud management system to Safaricom Ltd, the Kenyan mobile service provider.

After a nine-month thorough tendering process that included technical demonstrations and reference customer visits, the Subex Azure Fraud Management Solution (SAFMS) was chosen. SAFMS was an advanced fraud management system in the telecom space, which enabled operators to detect both known patterns and unusual fraud types in all environments. It was highly flexible allowing operators to customise the configuration to suit their network and business requirements, a company release here said.

Company Founder-Chairman, Director and CEO Suresh Menon said ''we are delighted to be working with Safaricom and this deal is a great endorsement of the versatility and effectiveness of SAFMS.'' Safaricom is the largest mobile operator in Kenya with a customer base of 4.4 million subscribers.
