PM arrives in Finnish capital
Helsinki, Oct 11 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here today to attend the 7th India-EU Summit on October 13.
Dr Singh was recevied by senior Finnish and Indian officials.
The Prime Minister will have bilateral talks with his Finnish counterpart Matti Vanhanen during his three-day stay.
The two leaders will have a one-on-one meeting, followed by delegation-level talks on a wide range of bilateral issues as well as international developments.
Dr Singh might also draw the EU's attention towards the dangers of clandestine proliferation as was amply demonstrated by North Korea by carrying out an atomic test on Monday in gross violation of its obligations under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), according to official sources.
