PAD officers commence indefinite strike

Puducherry, Oct 11 (UNI) The technical officers of the Puducherry Agriculture Department (PAD) today went on an indefinite strike and staged a dharna in front of the legislative assembly to press their demands.

Their main demands, included removal of the anomalies in the pay scale, granting of promotion and immediate recruitment to the vacant posts.
