Normalcy returns to violence marred Mangalore

Mangalore, Oct 11: Situation returned to normalcy in the violence marred Mangalore City and nearby areas with no untoward incident reported since yesterday.

However, the authorities have decided to continue with night curfew today also as a precautionary measure.

All the Schools and Colleges have reopened and business establishments are doing normal business.

In all, 150 people were arrested in connection with the violence which had claimed two lives and left more than 100 injured in Mangalore City, B C Road, Konaje, Veeranagar, Kuttalapadavu, Ullal and Bantwal.
