New Zealand High Commissioner inaugurates computer literacy centre

New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) New Zealand High Commissioner to India Graeme Waters inaugurated a computer literacy centre in a slum in East Delhi today.

The centre in Dr Ambedkar colony, run by community health and development society Asha, was funded and equiped by the New Zealand High Commission, a statement said.

The centre would benefit the residents, especially more than 3,000, who otherwise would have never got an opportunity to learn computers.

This computer literacy centre was sixth opened in a slum by Asha, which had also helped about three lakh people in 44 slums across the city with its healthcare, empowerment and environment programmes.
