Light rain occured at isolated places

Pune, Oct 11 (UNI) The southwest monsoon has been subdued over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Orissa.

In the regions from where the southwest monsoon withdrawn has taken place:- Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh and in some parts of west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh and were above normal in Bihar and in some parts of Punjab. They were below normal in some parts of Rajasthan and of Gujarat Region and were normal in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.

Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab,Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Rajsthan, west Madhya Pradesh and were above normal in west Uttar Pradesh and in remaining parts of Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over east Uttar Pradesh, Kashmir, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state and Chattisgarh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan and Goa, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka and at mainly dry weather prevail over the West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat state, Marathwada and Andhra Pradesh state.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim and Orissa.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at a few places in Assam and Meghalaya, Konkan and Goa, interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and at mainly dry weather prevailed over the Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat state, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh state and coastal Karnataka.
