Isolated rains in parts of AP

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) Isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours, while dry weather prevailed in Telangana and Rayalaseema.

The met office said isolated rain or thundershowers were likely to occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh as also Rayalaseema in the next 48 hours. Mainly dry weather would prevail over Telangana.

Sullurpet (Nellore dist) recorded rainfall of one cm.

The maximum temperatures changed little over the State during the period. They were significantly above normal at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and above normal over Telangana&Rayalaseema. The highest maximum temperature of 36 deg C was recorded at many places over the State.

The minimum temperatures changed little and were normal over the State. The lowest minimum temperature of 20 deg C was recorded at Adilabad, Hyderabad Airport and Medak.
