iGate Global Sept'06 net rises 80.42 pc to Rs 10.14 crore

Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) iGate Global has posted a 80.42 per cent increase in consolidated net profit after tax and exceptional item and minority interest, to Rs 10.14 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 5.62 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said total income has increased by 29.54 per cent to Rs 202.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 from Rs 156.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

On a stand alone basis, the company has posted a 79.66 per cent rise in net profit after tax and exceptional items, to Rs 10.6 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 5.9 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

Total income increased by 39.94 per cent to Rs 186.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 from Rs 133.58 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.
