HPSEDC registers Rs 72 lakh profit

Shimla, Oct 11 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) today announced a Rs 72.14 lakh profit on an annual turnover of Rs 1,860 during 2005-06, Managing Director Onkar Sharma today said.

The corporation earned a profit of Rs 72.15 lakh almost after a decade, while it a registered a 140 per cent increase on the Rs 1,860 crore turnover from Rs 775 lakh achieved during the last financial year, he said.

Mr Sharma said the Corporation had already registered Rs 1,500 lakh turnover during the first half of the year and was likely to exceed its last year's turnover.

Similarly, its profits during the fiscal were also likely to increase due to increased sale of computer hardware and software, which were competitively priced, he added.
