Fibre godown gutted in fire accident

Vijayawada, Oct 11 (UNI) A fire broke out at a fibre godown in the city today.

The loss was estimated at Rs Two lakh.

Beds and pillows in the godown were reduced to ashes, Fire department sources told UNI here.

Two fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.

The cause of the fire was due to the electric short circuit, the sources added.
