Family of four commit suicide in Punjab
Ludhiana, Oct 11 (UNI) A family of four ended their lives by jumping before a train between Shanewal and Dhandari Kalan stations on the Ludhiana-Ambala section today, police here said.
The victims including two minor children were yet to be identified, railway police sources said, indicating that from their appearance they seemed to be from either UP or Bihar.
The eldest victim, a male was in his late twenties and was probably the father of the children who were aged between two and five years. The woman in her earlier twenties was probably the mother, railway police officials said.
While the male and the two children--a girl and a boy were killed on the spot, the woman who was grieviously injured died at the civil hospital here.
