Delhi Expenditure Finance Committee clears 4 projects worth Rs 23cr
New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Delhi government's Expenditure Finance Committee today approved four Public Works Department projects worth over 23 crore.
In a meeting, presided by Delhi Finance and Planning Minister A K Walia, the EFC gave its nod to widen the Master Plan Road No.102 from Delhi Development Authority Chilla Sports Complex to Khoda Chowk in Mayur Vihar Phase II from four to six lane at an estimated cost of Rs 9.96 crore. The work would be completed by July next.
The widened road would ultimately link DDA Chilla Sports Complex to NH 24 via New Kondli area, relocated Khari Baoli Market and Fish Market.
The EFC had also approved strengthening of Road No.66 from Gokulpuri Flyover to GT Road with an estimated cost of Rs 6.03 crore within 12 months time.
The committee had also cleared construction of a service road along Agra Canal from Kalindi Kunj to Palla Bridge with an estimated cost of Rs 5.83 crore within six months time.
This would replace a 'kaccha' road at same place and facilitate smooth and safe movement of vehicular traffic. Parking space on Marginal Bond Road near Lalita Park to Bank Enclave side would be reconstructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.44 crore within 12 months time.
