Cops-turned contract killers: BSP din in UP assembly

Lucnow, Oct 11 (UNI) The Opposition Bahujan Samaj Party members created a din in the Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly today charging policemen of killing a youth for money.

BSP members, led by Rangnath Mishra, entered the well of the house during Zero Hour alleging that a youth Kapil Dev was murdered in Bhadoi district by policemen.

They alleged the policemen were paid money to eliminate the youth.

The BSP members, while demanding a Rs five lakh compensation for his kin, sought an inquiry by the CID to nail the culprits.

While the government assured to look into the matter, Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey asked the government to submit a report within a week.
