Cong MLA ready to leave state if charges proved
Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) Congress MLA from Koilakuntla Challa Ramakrishna Reddy today said he would leave the state along with his family if anyone proved his alleged involvement in the tender process of Avuku and Gandikota tunnels, as reported in the media.
He was reacting to a report in a local newspaper that he was allegedly involved in the tender process of tunnels for the irrigation projects under Galeru Nagari Sujala Scheme.
Talking to media today he said the tender process was technical and a high power committee including Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation, Advisor Irrigation, Chief Engineer and other members would process and decide qualification and disqualification of the tenders.
His opponents were resorting to mudslinging, Mr Reddy added.
The irrigation department had completed the tender process and the tenders would be opened on October 16, he said.
