BSP MLAs force Asembly Session adjournment once

Dehradun, Oct 11 (UNI) Amid noisy scene created by Bahujan Samaj Party Legislators demanding discussion on the issue related to the farmers, the Assembly Session was adjourned again today.

Bedlam ensued as soon as the House assembled, with BSP MLA Narainpal, along with six other party MLAs, entering the Well demanding discussion on the regularisation of farmers land due which is pending since long time. Speaker Yashpal Arya kept urging them that the issue would be given time the next day.

Opposition leader Matbar Singh Kandari too urged the Speaker to allow the discussion. However, the Speaker remained firm on his decision. Amidst the din, he adjourned the House for 20 minutes from 1110 hrs to 1130 hrs.

Noisy scene continued after the house re-assembled for five minutes with BSP legislators continuing their demand. However, they returned back to their respective seats and the House continued to function normally.
