Bengal announces 20-member team for Santosh final leg

Kolkata, Oct 11 (UNI) The IFA today announced the 20-member Bengal team for the final leg of the 61st Senior National Football Championship, Santosh Trophy, to be held from October 12 to 25.

The players losing out their position in the final team are Madhab Das, Naru Gopal Hait, Manik Burman and Krispen Chettri. The foursome were a part of the Bengal team in the qualifiers.'' '' I am happy with the team I have. We will try to do our best to regain Bengal's lost glory, '' coach Prasanta Banerjee said.

Taem: (goalkeepers) Sandip Nandy, Kalyan Chaubey.

Defenders:Shyam Mondal, Habibur Rahman, Barun Kundu, Madhusudan Majumdar, Bijoy Basfore, Saumik Dey, Sanjib Maria.

Medios: Ashim Das, Abinas Thapa, Tapan Maity, Ratan Das, Snehashis Chakraborty, Gauranha Dutta, Suman Dutta.

Forward: Rahim Nabi, Dipendu Bioswas, Lalmangaih Zuala, Tarif Ahmed.
