Autofest-2006 to begin from October 14 at SVNIT

Surat, Oct 11 (UNI) A national-level automobile technical festival, organised by the mechanical engineering department of Sardar Vallabhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), 'Autofest-2006' will begin on October 14 here.

The two-day festival will have a number of events like robotic shows, paper presentations and quiz competitions.

There will also be an exhibition of automobile designs starting from vintage cars of the Second World War to the most recent innovations, the organisers said.

The qualifying rounds of Nexus '07, organised by IIT Mumbai, will also take place along with the festival.
