Angadia worker looted at Surat railway station

Surat, Oct 11 (UNI) Barely a day after city police commissioner Sudhir Sinha had issued a warning to angadia(local courier) workers, to prevent loots, an angadia worker was looted at Surat railway station today morning.

According to Surat railway police, an angadia worker of Kamleshbhai angadia was looted at platform number one of the railway station.

Eight packets of diamond worth Rs.5.5 lakh was looted from the worker, sources said.

Railway police is conducting an investigation into the incident.
