300 delegates to participate in 2-day industry seminar
New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Around 300 delegates from India and abroad, including 150 from China, will participate in a two-day deliberation to be inaugurated by Minister of State (Mines) Subbarami Reddy today.
The seminar will have participation from government and industry officials and Minister of State for Steel Akhilesh Das as the chief guest.
Prominant members from China Chamber of Commerce for Metals, Minerals and Chemicals (CCCMC), Sinosteel Corporation and important steel mills and trading companies will represent the Chinese industry.
The Indian picture will be depicted by Planning Commission and prominent ministries of Steel, Mining, Commerce and Industry, along with an enthusiast cluster of metals and mineral exporters.
Indian participants include Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), MMTC, STC, PEC from the public sector enterprises and their private counterparts including Tata, Essar and Jindal Steel.
CCCMC has a group of around 3,800 companies under its membership including foreign trade companies, trade and manufacturing companies, joint venture companies, private enterprises and research institutes.
Their field of activities comprise of ferrous metals, non ferrous metals, non metallic minerals, construction materials, coal products, oil products, chemicals, plastics and fine chemicals.
